AMSA Surveys

AMSA Surveys

Ashworth Maritime Services are AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) Accredited. Our AMSA Surveys are the survey of an existing vessel afloat, or out of water inspection, in accordance with the USL Code and NSCV.

If you have a Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, or Class 4 vessel that is due for its survey in accordance with its survey certificate(s), Ashworth Maritime Services can perform a Periodic Survey of a Domestic Commercial vessel, which includes:

The survey is carried out by accurately interpreting standards and guidelines, and applying rules and/or regulatory requirements.

The owner will be informed of any deficiencies discovered during the survey of a vessel that requires repair, replacement or action and will be recorded on a survey activity report, a copy of which will be given to the owner or owner's representative at the time of the survey.

Ashworth Maritime Services are AMSA Accredited and members of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors and Marine Surveyors Association Inc.
